Today we’ve singled out three boats that are perfect for sailing around the islands. In our opinion, these three models are the ideal choice for you and your friends or family to spend the day cove-hopping, sailing across to the lovely island of Formentera or anchoring by our beaches for a few days where the waters of our unique Mediterranean isles will rock you.
Jenneau Cap Camarat 5.5
This brand new motorboat, registered in 2018, holds up to six people. This vessel is the perfect choice for sea trips by couples or with friends since two can sleep in comfort in its cosy cabin.
The Cap Camarat 5.5 is the second generation of one of Jenneau’s models with the longest traditions. It’s great for daytrips, anchoring in one of our little coves. The boat is 5.5 metres long, with a 2.4 metre beam and 115 horsepower engine. It’s equipped with a sun awning, GPS and music system.
Sea Ray 290
This motorboat is ideal for big groups, with a capacity of up to 12 people. It’s one of our most popular vessels for celebratory days out, such as birthdays, special events or simply because today is the day for a celebration.
This vessel, based at Botafoch Marina, is a spacious comfortable choice. It’s 9 metres long with a big sunbathing deck and large swim platform. It can be chartered with or without a skipper.
Galeon 290 Fly
This is one of our newest boats, ideal for spending a few days with the family, anchoring close to our beaches and sleeping overnight on board. We suggest you choose a different cove each day, like Espalmador, Cala Saona, Porroig or one of the numerous other options. Most of these beaches have magnificent restaurants, offering excellent service to boat trippers.
This is the perfect motorboat for a family holiday, since it has a capacity of up to 8 people during the day and berths for 5 at night.
It’s 10 meters long, with two 190 horsepower diesel engines. It features 2 cabins, a modern saloon with a comfortable convertible settee for one person to sleep, a large table, and a fully-fitted bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet. A brilliant luxury option.
The upper deck also features a large area for sunbathing, a sun awning and cockpit. Ideal for a few days’ holiday.
SAILING BOATS
Our sailing boats deserve a separate mention. If you opt for one of these vessels, you’ll be looking for peace and quiet and fleeing any engine noise. Sailing boats are the ideal choice for those wishing to spend a week sailing around our coasts, revelling in an experience second to none. Sailing boats are synonymous with freedom, as the wind catches in the sails and the sea foam splashes your face on a trip that you will never forget.
Our sailing boats can be chartered with or without a skipper, although clearly they are designed to be skippered by those who love testing out their sailing skills and enjoy sailing round our islands.
